Mandalas with Crackers by Shastina only, The Mandala Group 2017

This year I made some Christmas crackers in miniature and in these photo mandalas, with the addition of some confetti, they went off with a bang!

I used the template from a craft magazine to make the crackers and the pretty papers are from the same place.  I printed some jokes I found on the internet for the inside and used up-cycled ribbons to tie them together.  Then all that was left to do was to add some cracker snaps to complete them and once that was done, I then found making a mandala with them was simply the obvious thing to do.

To a Colourful Christmas!

This year's mandala is something a bit different, a colour wheel with a collection of summer flowers and added Christmas cheer from multi-coloured holly leaves and yin yang berries.  Cathy, Sky Dymondz, Jojo, Jenni and Shastina all contributed to this colourful mandala.

A new project I have for this year has been inspired by the number of colouring books now available and mine begins with the idea of mandalas that anyone can colour in for free, all that is required is a printer.  So instructions 1)print one off, 2)take some colouring pencils or pens and you're away!
