Beacons of Hope Mandala 4

Mandala of Sailing Boats & Stars, by Shastina only, The Mandala Group 2014
Despite extreme disadvantages in life (she was deaf and blind), Helen Keller had some of the most profound thoughts.
Thoughts to inspire, like the one above and they inspire still.

Beacons of Hope Mandala 2

Quoting Karen Goldman, with Angel mandala by Shastina only, 2014

Angels are lighthouses, how nice!
Although I found this thought inspiring, I didn't know anything about Karen Goldman, so I looked her up on 'Google' and found out she's an author that has written some books about angels.

Beacons of Hope Mandala 1

Quoting Oscar Wilde, with Mandala by Shastina only 2014.

*
I am hoping this will be the first of a collection of mandalas, to honour the true beacons of hope that can be gained from little inspirational sayings.  By beginning with this timeless saying of inspiration & wit; 'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' taken from Lady Windermere's Fan, by Oscar Wilde, I hope to show these little inspirational sayings, from some great people can be true Lighthouses of the Spirit.  So here is my, more humble, offering of a mandala to illustrate what I am quoting today and which I hope is reminiscent of the stars in the night sky.
